Investment Controlling acc. to KAGB: Investment Limits, Audit Methodology (incl. ESG)

In cooperation with our training partner, we are holding a two-day intensive seminar on September 16–17, 2026, titled "Investment Controlling acc. to KAGB: Investment Limits and Audit Methodology (incl. ESG)." This two-day intensive seminar consolidates and deepens knowledge regarding the investment limits and risk requirements set out in the Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch (KAGB) and associated regulations issued by BaFin and the EU.

Participants will gain an understanding of the statutory implementation requirements, extending down to the operational level. They will also be sensitized to varying interpretations through the use of practical examples. The seminar focuses on open-ended investment funds—specifically UCITS funds—and the scope for contractual derogation regarding open-ended special AIFs. It is aimed at staff involved in fund controlling and investment limit monitoring at both management companies (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaften) and depositaries (Verwahrstellen). Basic knowledge of investment funds and investment instruments (including derivatives) is required. We look forward to hearing from you.
